It's hard to believe that summer is almost here. MCAS's have been roaring through. The weather is finally turning nice. The birds are returning to my husbands bird feeders.
Programming at the library is slowing down as I get ready to make my yearly visits to all the grade schools. I can't wait to see everyone.
Summer programming is really kicking into gears with lots of cool performers coming including Keith Michael Johnson, bubble artist and Dan Bowen, magician. It's going to be really fun. You can keep track of everything we are doing by going to the website and clicking on the 2009 Summer Reading Program on the kids page. Sign-ups for the program begin now but the logging doesn't begin until June 1st. We will be having a raffle at the end of the summer and you can earn the tickets to be in it just by reading, reading, reading. We also have some other plans that we are working on and will tell you more in the near future.
