Depression, recession, and comprehension

It is time to plan not only the summer and fall programming, but the library budget for the new year. As we all know the outlook is grim for everyone and my heart goes out to all who have lost their jobs and are struggling to make ends meet. The library is also working to make ends meet. I will be adjusting all my programming to better fit into the needs of the library. I would love to hear from you what programming you think is the most important to continue in the fall.

Also, to my homeschool families, I would love to hear more from you about how the library can better serve your schooling needs.

The groundhog was wrong. Spring is in the air. While I have yet to see a crocus, the teens are falling in love. (That is the first sign of spring for me!) Now the clouds I see no longer seem threatening. They are now filled with rain to grow the flowers that spread the pollen that make me sneeze and wheeze and talk like a frog. I can hardly wait. (Where's my Zrteck?)

Happy springtime everyone!
